Congratulations to the winners of the 2009 Imperial
“Feed them breakfast. Feed their future.” Contest!

Janice Stromgren
Langley, British Columbia
“We were ecstatic to learn that we were the recipients of this generous RESP contribution from the ‘Feed them breakfast, Feed their future’ contest. It will be used towards tuition fees for my daughter, who is currently a first-year science student at university. She hopes to pursue a career in pediatric medicine.
I was raised on Imperial margarine and I truly believe that it is the best choice for my family. Thank you so much to Unilever for providing contests such as this to support our children and students.”

Lily Helpard
Comox, British Columbia
“After the call I would spontaneously yell "Woo-hoo!" throughout the remainder of the day. This fantastic win comes at the perfect time for me to continue with financial aid to my daughter Gillian, who is in her 3rd year of university. I was trying to figure out how I was going to come up with more funds when out of the blue comes the phone call with the answer to my needs.
I use Imperial margarine on a regular basis. I always thought Imperial was a great product and value for the money. It will always be my margarine of choice.”

Roland Giroux

“We have used Imperial and were very pleased with the taste and spreadability.”

ELIGIBILITY:
Contest is open to all legal residents of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry, except employees or agents (and those with whom they are domiciled) of Unilever Canada Inc. (the “Sponsor”), its advertising and promotion agencies and the contest judges.
THE PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE:
There will be three (3) prizes available to be won, each consisting of the sum of $ 5,000.00 CDN in the form of a $5,000.00 CDN cheque from Unilever Canada Inc (the “Prize”), which the winner may choose to use for a contribution to a Registered Education Savings Plan (“RESP”), subject to the relevant provisions of the Income Tax Act (Canada). If, at the time of being declared a winner the winner has not yet established an RESP, the Sponsor will provide to the winner upon request a list (publicly available) of certain RESP promoters whose education savings plans are currently registered by the Canada Revenue Agency. The provision of such list by the Sponsor is for informational purposes only and does not constitute endorsement by the Sponsor of the products or services of any particular RESP promoter. The Sponsor makes no representation or warranty regarding the ability of the winner to use the Prize for an RESP and winners are encouraged to seek the assistance of their own financial or other professional advisors with respect to the establishment of, or contributions to, any RESP. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable. No substitutions except at Sponsor’s option. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize or a component thereof with one of equal or greater value.
DRAW AND WINNER SELECTION:
On November 5, 2009 (“Draw Date”) in Toronto, Ontario at 10:00:01 a.m. ET, three eligible entrants will be selected by random draw from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Acting reasonably, the Sponsor will attempt to contact the selected entrant by phone or email within ten (10) business days of the Draw Date. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within ten (10) business days of the Draw Date or there is a return of any notification as undeliverable, the selected entrant will be disqualified and the Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select an alternate entrant from among the remaining eligible entries. Before being declared a winner, each selected entrant will be required to: (a) correctly answer a time limited mathematical skill testing question; and (b) sign and return within ten (10) business days of notification a declaration and release form confirming compliance with these Contest Rules, acceptance of the prize as awarded and releasing the Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies, the contest judges and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with this Contest, the selected entrant’s participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the Prize or any portion thereof. If the selected entrant: (a) fails to correctly answer the skill testing question; or (b) fails to return the contest documents within the specified time, then he/she will forfeit the prize and the Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select an alternate entrant from among the remaining eligible entries.
